My journey ...

I was born in Austria, as a son of a young couple who just came from Bosnia and started a new life.

At the age of four, I got my first football boots and the first jersey in which I made my first steps in football.

ASC St. Paul ...

When I started to play one year later at "ASC St. Paul", initially as a forward, I was overjoyed. In games against stronger opponents, I put spontaneously myself into the goal and tried to help my team. I realized more and more how important the role of a goalkeeper is. I have never come to terms with defeat and have been more and more interested in how I can prevent the opponents' goals.

FK Radnički Lukavac ...

Between the age of 8 and 10 years, I played for "FK Radnicki Lukavac" as a guest player at tournaments in Bosnia (Tuzla, Maglaj, Zivinice, Srebrenik, Gradacac, Bihac ...) and international tournaments in Germany (Karlsruhe, Stuttgart ...) I gained a lot of experience against German Bundesliga clubs like VfB Stuttgart, KSC, Augsburg, Nuremberg ...

For three consecutive years, I participated in the UEFA project "Danish Football School", which was quite good for my development.

For the beautiful moments at this age I am thankfull to Vehad Ibrišimović, my head coach at "FK Radnički". He also brought me into contact with goalkeeper coach Dragan Mandalinic, from whom I learned the basic elements of goalkeeping.

ATSV Wolfsberg ...

At the age of 10, I had the opportunity to train and play more often, so my parents decided that we would move to Wolfsberg, so from then on I played for my new club ATSV Wolfsberg.

At the same time I managed the entrance examination for the sports secondary school Wolfsberg. Suddenly everything was like a fairy tale. I had a lot of quality games and training sessions, there were games and successes in the championship, in the student league and also tournaments outside the borders of Austria.

Goalkeeper Academy ...

Furthermore, I also successfully completed the admission to the Goalkeeper Academy, which was under the leadership of professional goalkeeping coaches Adi Preschern and Mag. Janko Smrecnik. There I trained with older goalkeepers and i have been the youngest there for a long time. The professional training sessions that I started with and still work with my mentor Adi Preschern are at a high level and demand a great sacrifice.

LAZ (Provincial Training Center) ...

Scouts from the Kärnter Fußballverband (Radl Alexander) scouted me at the age of 11, so i started trainings with 2 year older generation in the LAZ. The training sessions take place 5 times a week and are complemented by coordination and mental training. For my goalkeeping training was the 58-year-old Gerhard Lanz in charge, who coached many former Bundesliga goalkeeper.

Immediately afterwards, I was called up for the Carinthian selection. This was a great honor for me.

At that time, I played for "SK St. Andrä", where I got the support of team coach Mario Romac to develop myself.

Trials ...

I have been also noticed by several scouts and clubs, so I got invitations from "Red Bull Salzburg", "AC Sparta Praha", "SK Austria Kärnten", "SK Sturm Graz", "SV Kapfenberg", "FAL Linz" and "Vfb Stuttgart".

I spent 5 days at "AC Sparta Praha" and had the honor to train with Petr Kouba, finalist of the European Championship 2000, and at "Vfb" Stuttgart with Ebbo Trautner, Stuttgart legend and coach of Timo Hildebrandt. In Linz, Mag. Herwig Walker, one of the few Austrian goalkeepers who played in England, tested me.

FA Linz and LASK Linz ...

After four years of successfully completed sports school, training sessions in the goalkeeping academy and the LAZ, my way led me through the goalkeeping academy "Adi Preschern" to the youth academy "FA Linz".

At the same time, I also moved to the Bundesliga club LASK Linz, where I have appeared in the championship and in tournaments, like at the great MIC Cup in Barcelona. At LASK professional goalkeeper coach Wolfgang Wimmer took care of my further development, to whom I owe a lot.

FK Mlada Boleslav ...

At the age of 16, Irfan Redžepagić transfered me to Czech Bundesliga club FK Mlada Boleslav, where I signed my first professional contract.

There I was trained by Filip Toncar, one of the most acclaimed goalkeeping coaches in the Czech Republic. He was one of the deciding figures in my life and made me the best young goalkeeper in the Czech Republic for over 4 years.

At the age of 18, I made my debut for the first team and become Czech Champion with the U19. At the age of 19 I made my debut in the Czech Bundesliga against AC Sparta Prague. At the same time I won again the Czech championship title with the U21.

SV Austria Salzburg ...

After four successful years at FK Mlada Boleslav, I felt a need for change and accepted the next challenge at "SV Austria Salzburg". There I had the honor to perform in front of the "Curva Viola" for one of the most traditional clubs in Austria. I was able to learn a lot from Stefan Ebner, captain and legend of Austria Salzburg, especially what it means to be a personality and a leader.

In one year full of ups and downs I was able to gain a lot of valuable experience in the "Sky Go Erste Liga", which is crucial for my next step - Blau Weiss Linz.
